OC Junior Rugby has grown quickly, and has been recognised by the RFU and Harlequins for its achievements. Use your professional skills to bring sport and enjoyment to hundreds of children by joining our community of over 135 volunteers.

Marketing

We need creative support to raise awareness of the club across North Surrey and ensure regular communication of our successes and events to the club, local and wider community.

Our new website launched this season, we’d love to fill it and our social media channels with content about the amazing things our players and families get up to.

Whether you’re an amazing photographer, a gifted storyteller, a PR whizz or technical expert, we’d love your support to bring to life the wonderful smiles and brilliant rugby on show at OCs.

Membership

With hundreds of children playing rugby, comes a large membership challenge. Fortunately, we have good systems in place. Spond, our membership app, is super smooth and allows us to manage membership requests easily.

So much more is possible though. We’re keen to find community-minded people who can help us manage membership and better understand our community to make sure we’re providing the best experiences for families.

We need help managing and processing queries to ensure as many children as possible enjoy sport.

School Liaisons

OCs is very fortunate to have children from over 20 schools playing in its teams. We run an annual schools tag rugby competition, lend our pitches, and offer refereeing and coaching support. We do a lot for local schools. We’d like to do more and do it better.

We’re looking for a dedicated parent or guardian to be the point person for their child’s school. A critical role, it will mean we can support local schools by better understanding their needs.
