Junior Rugby

OC Junior Rugby provides fun, competitive rugby for children aged four all the way through to 17. Our Junior section started in September 2011 and now has over 900 children registered, with children joining from dozens of schools across Thames Ditton, Esher, Claygate, Hinchley Wood and Molesey, as well as from areas further away including Kingston, Teddington, Cobham and Walton.

The season starts on Sunday 8th September 2024, through to the end of April 2025.

We encourage new players to come along, see the club and train with their age group. Your first session is free. No sign up is necessary.

We will continue with three sessions this season:

Session Times

09.30 – 10.30   U5s, U6s, U7s, U8s, U9s and Girls

10.50 – 12.00   U10s, U11s, U12s, U13s and Mixed Touch

We are dedicated to providing a fantastic opportunity for young players to learn and play rugby in a safe and supportive environment. Our mission is to help players develop their skills, confidence, and teamwork while promoting a healthy lifestyle and a love for the sport.

Our coaching staff is made up of experienced and qualified volunteer coaches who are dedicated to helping players reach their full potential on the field. They use a variety of training methods to teach the basics of the game and help players develop the skills they need to succeed. We also encourage players to participate in regular conditioning and fitness training to help them stay in top physical shape.

We also promote a sense of community and belonging. Our players will have the opportunity to make new friends, form lasting bonds with their teammates, and compete against other teams in local and regional competitions.

We have a long history of success, with many players going on to play at the high school, college and even professional level. Join our club today and be a part of our winning tradition!
