OC Minis - Under 5s

U5s Team

Thank you for looking at the OCs for your child's first experience of rugby. The U5s (Under 5 age group) is open to any boy or girl who is in Reception Year at school or any child over the age of 3½ that you think can take some instruction.

It is a great way for your child to develop some key life skills whilst running around, being active and above all having FUN, enjoying structured non-contact games that will keep them interested and excited. Our qualified (and DBS checked) volunteer force of coaches can’t promise miracles, and not everyone will eventually turn out to be an international rugby player, but I can guarantee our absolute commitment in giving your child a great experience.

Many things are going on at this age group and instead of committing to paying for a full season’s subscription we are happy for your child to pay on a “pay per play” basis of £7 per session, as we understand that there are going to be some Sundays that you will not be able to come down.

Every Sunday from the first weekend of September through to end of April we start promptly at 09:30 (we suggest that you arrive soon after 09:15 to park. The session lasts for just under an hour and is followed by free squash and hot chips for the kids. The bar is open throughout for tea /coffee / bacon butties, and of course beer / wine for the adults.
